Youth play to raise funds for Christmas dinner

A youth production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” will be held this Saturday at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and again at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Moose Family Center in Gloucester.
The play is the fundraiser for the annual Christmas dinner that the Moose Lodge sponsors every year on Christmas Day from noon until 5 p.m. The dinner was developed as a way to give the homeless, homebound and first responders a nice warm meal and fellowship with others on Christmas Day.
It has since grown into a community event where everyone is invited. For those who have no family in the area to share Christmas with, they are invited to come out to enjoy fellowship and a wonderful meal with others.
Tickets for the play can be purchased at the door and also at Gloucester Office Supply and Golden Creations. If you have any special group orders, call 804-815-0826. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children and students.
