Young artists recognized in Palette Pals program

People’s Choice winners in an exhibit featuring artwork created during Arts on Main’s end-of-year Palette Pals program were recognized during a reception at the gallery on Wednesday, June 7.
Children in kindergarten and first grade classes participated in a variety of art projects as part of the program. Their work was exhibited at Arts on Main during June.
Winners were Sawyer Slavnik, Petworth Elementary; Charlie Waters, Botetourt Elementary; Sofia Spearman, Bethel Elementary; and Victor Crowe, Abingdon Elementary.
The teachers who led the Palette Pals program were Kim Robins, Petsworth; Erin Elmore, Botetourt; Nyssa Collins, Bethel, and Lindsey Mahnke, Abingdon.
Arts on Main plans to continue the program during the 2023-2024 school year, said a press release. For more information about Palette Pals, visit gloucesterarts.org/art-classes.
