Yorktown Folk Festival this weekend

The 11th annual Yorktown Folk Festival will be held this weekend, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6:30 Sunday.
It’s a free celebration of American music to be held on five stages along the Yorktown waterfront. Folk, blues, maritime, rock and roll, Celtic and reggae styles, along with other attractions, will be performed by local bands, musicians, storytellers and dancers.
Stages are set at the Country Market, Riverwalk, and Watermen’s Museum.
The days also includes food trucks, vendors, craft demonstrations and artists.
At 2 p.m. Sunday, historian and author Mike Cecere will sign his book, “Williamsburg During the American Revolution” at York Hall.
The festival is sponsored by the York County Commission of the Arts.
