Yearly Lee-Jackson fete held by Lane-Diggs Camp

The usual annual celebration of the Lee-Jackson Day by the Lane-Diggs Camp of Mathews which was held in the Courthouse on Tuesday was one of the most interesting and enjoyable occasions of the kind ever held here. Nearly all the members of the camp and many of the Daughters of the Confederacy were present, besides a large audience that packed the courthouse to the very door and left many standing outside.
