The Writers Guild of Virginia and the RAL Art Center will hold a joint presentation on memoir and generational writing from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, at the RAL Art Center, 19 N. Main Street, Kilmarnock. It is free and open to the public.
Williamsburg area author Cindy L. Freeman, whose memoir “Farm Girl” was published in 2023, will discuss the benefits of writing about personal experiences, provide insights from her own writing journey, and share tips on how to start writing your own memoir.
The event is part of the Second Saturday Social Series.
