The Rappatomac Writers Critique Group will meet twice in March and is welcoming new members, a release said.
For most writers, especially those who need a push or have finally decided to begin, participating in a supportive, listening group of people who share their writing experiences can be beneficial, the release said. The critique group includes novelists, poets, memoirists, short story writers, humorists, young adult fiction writers, educators, essayists, technical writers and library volunteers who discuss their writing over lunch.
Meetings next month will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at Lancaster Tavern in Lancaster Court House, and at noon on March 21 at Java Jacks Café in Tappahannock.
