Virginia Cooperative Extension in Mathews held the ninth annual Holiday Wreath Workshop on Dec. 7 at the Extension office in Mathews. With a little instruction, a dozen participants from Mathews, Middlesex, Gloucester and Yorktown made their own creative wreaths using a wire coat hanger, florist wire, greenery and ribbon for the bow. All the greenery was donated and there were even refreshments.
