The Virginia Charter Boat Workshop will be held on Saturday, March 26, via Zoom.
Organized by the Marine Advisory Program at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science in partnership with the Virginia Saltwater Sportfishing Association, the workshop will highlight fishery resource, regulatory, and U.S. Coast Guard updates.
“We are excited to offer this program to charter and head boat captains, mates, and marina professionals, in addition to folks interested in entering the charter business,” said Susanna Musick with the VIMS Marine Advisory Program.
Workshop speakers will be regional experts in their respective fields. Presenting the keynote address will be Robert Beal, executive director of the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission.
