Woodville School descendants hold Fall Festival

The Woodville Rosenwald School Foundation Descendants Community Committee hosted its first Fall Festival on Saturday at the historic school building in Ordinary.
The event drew a crowd with about 70-75 people. Descendants Community Committee members include Edna Gardner, Brinda Jones, Pat Lee, Donna Osborne, Gloria Olivis, Claudia Lemon Pratt, Marion Randall, Donna Shannon, Jeanne Weldon Travis, Paula Washington and Deborah Billups.
Vendors present included Toni Olivis of Toppers by Toni, Amelia Hodges of Creative Crafts by Suzy, books by Gloria Savage, and the Gloucester County NAACP.
Attendees were also able to tour the Woodville Rosenwald School and look at artwork created by Rosenwald school students as well as their descendants. Ethel Olivis Bluett, who went to Bethel School, supplied a handmade doll house and Marion Corbin Randall, who went to Bena Hayes School, provided artwork from relatives.
