Women bolster a meeting on local education

We were sorry to see so few men attend the educational meeting at the Court House on Aug. 31. They should be interested in this matter if they are interested in anything which affects the welfare of the county. The absence, however, was in a great measure atoned for by the fine audience of ladies present. If we have succeeded in interesting them the outlook is indeed bright for our schools. As the guardian and guiding spirit of the home their cooperation is indeed a valuable asset, and we trust that they will succeed in bringing their worse halves to a realization of the importance of this matter.
