The gallery has invited a group of artists to share their interpretations of the beauty of the season. Patrick Andrews, Hunter Banks, Jack Banks, Jacquie Colligan, Paula Dooley, Phil Dunn, Kathleen Noffsinger, Rose Nygaard, Connie Powell and Mary Montague Sikes will display their works in a broad variety of media including oil, watercolor, sculpture, photography, collage, and more.
Live music is provided by Pocketfunk, a bluesy instrumental trio comprised of Mike August on the drums, Sean Spencer on bass, and Clayton Ware on guitar. Their music is characterized by improv, funk and danceable grooves.
First Friday is free and open to the public and is sponsored by Lynne Manning. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. The exhibition runs for the month of January.
