Williamsburg author releases sci-fi novel

Author D.L. Farrar, the pen name of Diana Farrar Caron of Williamsburg, has released a science fiction novel, “Vincent and the Grief Masters.”
Set in the year 2065, the book is described in a press release as a “fast-paced action adventure of murder, mystery and romance.” It tells of a world in which governments and economies have collapsed and corporations are in control. Veteran and inventor Troy Vincent is wrongly accused of murdering the world’s most powerful CEO and is condemned to imprisonment in the terrifying Virtual Reality Chambers. There he meets a young woman accused of the same murder, and together they must unravel the mystery of who is framing them while battling demons of their own making in the chambers.
Kirkus Reviews said that “Farrar maintains a brisk and exciting rollercoaster momentum throughout.”
The book contains references to music, and a QR code takes the reader to Farrar’s website, where a playlist is available that can be played on Spotify at no cost.
