A memorial service for William G. Green Sr., 65, of Hayes, was held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, in New Life Ministry Center. He died July 11, 2014.

He was a waterman.

Survivors include three children, Shaunda Lee Greene, William G. Green Jr. and Robert William Green; sisters, Jean South, Judy Britt, Wanda Kupec and Rose Green; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The service was conducted by the Rev. Wendell Gaffney. Inurnment was private.

Hogg Funeral Home and Crematory, Gloucester Point, was in charge.
