William “Billy” Wade Ransone passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Grace Ransone, and brother, Morris. Billy’s career journey spanned from the Newport News Shipyard to becoming a self-employed dump truck driver. Billy had a gift for conversation. Whether sharing stories or engaging in lively discussion, his passion for connecting with others knew no bounds. A familiar face at community music events, Billy found joy in the music and being with people.

A graveside celebration of his life will be on Saturday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at Harmony Grove Baptist Church at 7722 General Puller Highway, Topping, Va.
