William “Billy” Thomas Jordan Jr. of Hayes, passed away July 27, 2014 at the age of 83.

He lived a very adventurous life, owning several companies in Gloucester, Va. He owned W. T. Jordan Excavating, Gloucester Forge and Steel, and W. T. Jordan Aqua Farms.

Billy was preceded in death by his two sons, Neal Jordan and Mark Jordan.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Julia O’Neil Jordan; three daughters, Linda Mortensen, Suzanne Smith and Sherry Moody; son, Van Jordan; also a host of 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service with Brandon Thomas Minter officiating will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
