Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism is sponsoring a Wild Explorers Camp for ages 7-11 the week of Aug. 7-10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day, at Beaverdam Park. The fee is $75 and the deadline to register is Aug. 3.
THE FULL HIKE: The Full Hike, a 9.5-mile self-guided hike through Beaverdam Park, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, beginning at 7 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks, wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. The registration fee is $5 and the deadline to register is Aug. 12.
FALL SOCCER: Gloucester PRT is sponsoring fall soccer for ages 3-14 as of Sept. 30. The 3 Years Parent and Child Playtime Soccer is from Sept. 5 through Oct. 5, 5-7:30 p.m. timeframe; the fee is $30 and the deadline is Aug. 20. The 4 and 5 years Rugrat Division, 6-8 years Looney Tunes Division, 9-11 years Junior Division and 12-14 years Senior Division is from Aug. 22 through Oct. 26.
