The Bay School Community Arts Center will hold a “Stretch, Sip & Paint” event at 5:30 tonight, Thursday, Aug. 17, at the home of Lisa and Jay White on Woodas Creek in the Glebe section of Mathews.
The evening will include a half hour of gentle yoga guided by Lisa White and Susie Dunaway, a painting session featuring a lotus design guided by Bay School teaching artist Anne Atkinson, and wine and charcuterie.
The Whites designed their home to the highest level of “green” energy efficiency, said a press release, with passive solar heating and water collection. The home opens to multi-level decks and beautiful landscaping that lead to the waterfront.
The event will be held outside, with tours of the home available upon request.
