In honor of Earth Day this past Monday, we asked our Facebook followers this week which areas in Gloucester and Mathews counties are the most littered. The top responses were Route 17 and Route 14, followed by Guinea, Route 198, Windsor Road and Hickory Fork Road. Other responses included Ridge Road, Ware Neck, Gloucester Point, Gloucester Point Beach, T.C. Walker Road, Cedar Bush Road, Salem Church Road and Tidemill Road. One person said they see litter everywhere. Remember to properly dispose of your trash and reduce, reuse and recycle whenever possible. This survey was conducted on Facebook through Google Forms.
