West Point to hold Christmas on the Town Sunday

The West Point Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Christmas on the Town, the annual holiday kickoff for the community, will be held from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, with a parade at 2 p.m.
Christmas on the Town welcomes guests from around the region to enjoy live music, beverages, shopping, a parade, caroling, a Tree of Life Ceremony, and of course, Santa and his helpers.
The parade will line up on Kirby Street before turning down Main Street and running through the heart of the Christmas on the Town celebration. The theme for this year’s parade is “Whoville.” One trophy will be awarded to the entry filled with the most holiday spirit while representing the parade theme.
