If you are looking to explore a little about West Point and its history, the West Point Historical Society Museum, located at 709 Main Street, has over 2,000 artifacts that reflect the military, social, artistic and cultural history of West Point and the surrounding area. There is also a library of local and other historical books, as well as a bound collection of local newspapers from 1890 to present.
