We asked, you replied

We asked our readers last week if we should continue this feature, including the submitted photos of the flowers, sunrises, sunsets and other beautiful photos, and you replied. This week’s photos included several of Christmas decorations, in addition to the usual fare.

Wally and Mary Lou Sterling of New Point sent along this picture of their “grand dog” Peanut, who was visiting for Christmas, with sunrise on the Chesapeake Bay in the background.
Reed Lawson provided this image of Christmas Eve at Christ Episcopal Church in Mathews County, along with an emphatic “yes” to the question of whether we should continue these photos in the new year.

Fran James of Gloucester sent along this photo of her mantel decorated for Christmas.

Margaret Teagle of Gloucester gave us this photo with the caption “and the 18 stockings were hung by the chimney with care.”

Nancy Richardson provided this photograph of the North River sunset in Mathews on Christmas Eve.
