Wayne F. Shy, 81, of North, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020. 

He was born in Huntington, West Virginia, worked for 35 years with UPS and 10 years at the Norfolk Naval Station. He also served two years in the United States Army.

He is survived by his son, Wayne Jr. and his wife Jennine of New York; two grandchildren, Ruby and Spencer; his fiancée, Becky of North; brother, Jack of Michigan, and a sister, Sherry of West Virginia.

Wayne enjoyed photography, motorcycles, woodworking and tinkering with vehicles.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Locust Grove United Methodist Church Pavilion, Dutton. Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Foster-Faulkner Chapel is assisting the family.
