Watercolor artist’s works featured at Arts on Main

Arts on Main will open an exhibition of works by artist Holland Wentz Etheridge at October’s First Friday, to be held from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4 at the gallery on Main Street in Gloucester. It is free and open to the public.
Wentz Etheridge is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and a member of the Virginia Watercolor Society, said a press release. She has taught watercolor at Charles Taylor Visual Art Center in Hampton since 2016.
Among her many awards are “Best Body of Work” at the 2018 Gloucester Arts Festival, “Best in Show” at the 2016 Peninsula Fine Arts Center Biennial Juried Show, and inclusion in the 2014 and 2016 Virginia Watercolor Society Exhibitions. Other accolades include Awards of Excellence from the Virginia Watercolor Society and First Places and Awards of Merit from The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center.
The exhibit will run until Oct. 26.
