Among the many attractions at the Ware River Circle’s Open House on Dec. 12 is a chance to win its own Christmas house, raffling off a dollhouse which stands 2½’ tall x 2’ 8” wide.
The two-story, all-wood dollhouse has eight rooms and is partially furnished. The raffle winner does not have to be present to win. The winning raffle ticket will be drawn on the day of the Christmas Open House event.
Tickets are $5 for one or $20 for five tickets and proceeds benefit the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. Jane Worthington, who donated the dollhouse, will be on Gloucester’s Main Street near Edward Jones Investments on both Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting, selling tickets and providing information about the raffle.
Tickets for the Open House are $35 and sold at the Silver Box in Gloucester Court House and Hallmark at Gloucester Point. Sessions are held from noon to 1 p.m., 1:30-2:30 p.m., 3-4 p.m. and 4:30-5:30 p.m.
