Ware Episcopal Church held its spring ArtWalk Saturday, where over 90 pieces of art created by local elementary students were exhibited. The semiannual event, typically held outside, was moved inside the church’s parish house due to overcast skies and the potential of rain.
“We are so grateful for the schools, their art program and their art teachers who support this opportunity for these young artists,” said ArtWalk coordinator Elizabeth Roane.
The next ArtWalk is scheduled for late fall.
ArtWalk participants included the following students:
Abingdon Elementary School—Colleen Alligood, Harper Brown, Eden Gotherau-French, Evelyn Hefner, Kaleah Hoffecker, Kyleigh Hudgins, Connor McNair, Isabella Passwater, Allison Salinas-Plancarte, Lillian Sweeney and Bentley West.
