Ware Academy held its 2024 commencement ceremony the morning of May 31 at Ware Episcopal Church, Gloucester. Julien Patterson addressed the Class of 2024 as the guest speaker. Individual awards were distributed in addition to the graduation certificates.
The Decade Award was given to students who attended Ware Academy from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Those students are J.R. Andrews, Rylee Buck, George Henry Fitzgerald, Sydney Latoski and Sawyer Stevens.
Samantha Ames received the Headmaster’s Award for contributing the most to the school’s community in academics and character, as well as the Faculty Award which is given to the student with the highest grade-point average.
Hannah Lambert received the Founders Award, which is given to the student who has contributed the most to the school’s academic life.
