Congregations across Gloucester County will be taking part in a 6 p.m. worship service next Thursday, May 9, at Ware Episcopal Church as part of a series of ecumenical joint services.
All of the participating congregations are members of the Jubilee Churches of Gloucester, which is a coalition of 17 congregations that work together to help prevent homelessness.
The jubilee came together in January for an ecumenical service in observance of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, hosted by Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church.
The group’s goal is to hold periodic worship services that highlight the traditions of each respective denomination.
