Walter “Wally” Joseph Nowak, age 62, of Gloucester, died on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Wally was born on December 21, 1961 in Franklin, New Jersey, and raised in Harrison, to Robert C. Nowak Sr. and Jane Lynch Nowak. Wally was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Robert C. Nowak Jr. He is survived by his mother; his sisters, Sheila Nowak and Jo-Ann Nowak; nieces, Dawn Moore and Lou-Ann Lundy; nephews, Dennis Moore and Jeremy (Laura) Moore; great-nieces, Desiree, Dalaney, Makayla, Alice and Lily, and great-nephews, Seth, Ethan, Austin, and Nathan. Wally worked for Fujifilm for many years, which led him to travel to many places for work. He then went on to work for Canon as a mechanical engineer. He was a hard worker. In his free time, when he was not working, he could always be found in his shed listening to Southern rock, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, specifically. He enjoyed woodworking and even built golf carts and smokers for friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hogg Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Paul S. Pleasants. Inurnment is private.
