Walter A. Taylor Sr., 72, of Gloucester, died on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

He was a native of Gloucester County and a retiree of the Gloucester County Public School System.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Deacon Walter and Helen Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Hayes Taylor; son, Walter Jr.; daughter, Ashley Taylor; brothers, Larry, Earnie and Donnell Taylor; sisters, Sandra Clayborne, Dianne Bills, Melvina Taylor and Angelina Miniger, and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, July 25, in The Church of Abraham. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Taylor may be viewed from 11 a.m. until service time.

Howard Funeral Home, Ark, is in charge of arrangements.
