Mackenzie Jessica Morgan and Brett Maverick Walsh were married at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Newington Baptist Church, Gloucester. Pastor Mike Gray conducted the ceremony. Music was provided by James and Heather King.
The bride is the daughter of Bobbi Morgan of Gloucester.
The groom is the son of Kenny and Lisa Walsh of Sunbury, N.C.
The bride’s matron of honor was her sister-in-law, Abygail Morgan. Attendants were matron of honor Nicolette McCarver; bridesmaid and sister-in-law Madison Morgan; bridesmaid and sister of the groom Megan Walsh; and bridesmaid Allea Maurakis. Paisley Morgan, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
The groom’s two best men were brothers of the bride, Matthew Morgan and Mark Morgan. His groomsmen were Thomas McCoy, Reed Griffith and Jimmy Mento. Grayson Morgan, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
The reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother. Following a wedding trip to Cape Coral, Fla., the couple will make their home in Sanford, N.C.
