On December 1, 2024, God in his Almighty Powers called home our Beloved Waldron J. (Bossman) Wilson.
Born June 30, 1963 in Riverside Hospital, he was a lifelong resident of Gloucester; the youngest son of the late Ceasar A. Wilson Sr. and late Rosa C. Wilson. He accepted Christ at an early age, was a member of First United Baptist Church, Gloucester. He was a waterman working alongside his former boss and friend, Michael Greene. He also worked at many odd jobs around Gloucester when needed.
“Bossman” as everyone knew him was well known and one of the most genuine guys you could ever meet. He was generous and ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved his family and was dubbed the comedian that would keep everyone laughing. When the music started, he became a dancing machine. He loved to play pool and would challenge anyone! Bossman marched to his own drum in life, no excuses and no regrets! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Lee; brothers, Ceasar A. Wilson Jr. and Alvin D. Wilson. He leaves to cherish his memory brothers, Harry Bright and Michael Wilson; sisters, Vera Struba (Mark), Valarie Walden; sisters-in-law, Gale Wilson, Denise Berry, and Shirley Wilson; his special nieces and nephews, and a host of great-nieces, -nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at Whiting Funeral Home, Williamsburg, Va., on December 21, 2024 at noon.
