The Gloucester High School indoor track program produced an All-State athlete last weekend. Junior high-jumper Evan Wagner earned the All-State status when she cleared five feet, four inches to take fourth place at the Group AAA State Indoor Track Meet at the Boo Williams Sportplex.

ca High School, cleared five feet, eight inches. With 5’4" currently her personal best mark, Wagner looks to improve on her height during the upcoming outdoor track season.
Also competing for GHS at the state event was senior Kevin Speray who posted a time of 4:31.77 for 19th place in the 1600 meter race. The winner from Chantilly High School crossed the finish line at 4:15.48. Gloucester sophomore Khadijah Payne also earned a trip to the state event and tossed the shot put 30’9" for 23rd place. The winner from Grassfield High School had a throw of over 46 feet.
