The Virginia School Boards Association has announced the launch of the VSBA Public Education Initiative, a yearlong campaign designed to elevate the conversation around public education across the commonwealth.
With a focus on increasing awareness and engagement, the initiative underscores the importance of public schools in shaping the future of students, communities and the state as a whole, a release said.
As part of the initiative, the VSBA is releasing a comprehensive public education toolkit later this year that is designed to support school divisions, parents and community advocates in amplifying the message of the critical role that public schools play in Virginia.
The kit includes resources such as sample letters to the editor, social media templates and key talking points.
