Mathews Meals on Wheels is in need of volunteer drivers who are willing to give up two hours once a month to deliver meals to Mathews seniors who are homebound. Duffy and Bill Crowe, shown at left, have been “sharing their grace and love” by volunteering for the program for over 19 years, said Meals on Wheels coordinator Laura Matthews, third from left. As Bill and Duffy have shown over the past two decades, said Matthews, “the simple act of offering your skills and enthusiasm will positively impact the lives of others, as well as your own.” Jackie Satterly, at right, helps prepare the Bay Aging-sponsored meals at Thomas Hunter Middle School.
