VMS returns to racing on Saturday

Virginia Motor Speedway will return to weekly racing this Saturday to host week 9 of Dirt Series Championship weekly racing, featuring the Victory Lap Pro Late Model, Truckin’ Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modified, and Collision One Limited Stock Car divisions.
Competitor gates will open at 3 p.m., with spectator gates opening at 5. On-track activities begin at 5:45 p.m. with hot laps. Features start at 7.
Victory Pro Late Models will hold twin 17-lap races, with Budweiser Modifieds and Truckin’ Thunder Sportsman divisions competing in 25-lap races and Collision One Limited Stock Cars holding a 20-lap feature.
Admission price for adults is $15, seniors (60+) / military (active or retired) $12, students 13-17 years old $10, and children 12 and under admitted free. Pit passes will be $25.
Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway is a half-mile dirt oval track located on Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda.
