Vincent Lindell Pletnick, 75, of Mathews, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda.

He attended Lynchburg College where he completed his bachelor’s degree in English. He worked in the service industry for many years until his retirement. He served in the United States Navy and was assigned to the USS Sylvania.

Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Williamsburg/Jamestown Foundation and the American Cancer Society.

Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
