Throughout August, the Virginia Institute of Marine Science is hosting several behind-the-scenes tours of its Gloucester Point campus, revealing the local and global impact of its research. These 90-minute tours are designed for adults and older children (10 years or older and accompanied by an adult guardian) and will include a guided walk-through of the visitor center, as well as two research laboratories/facilities.
The first tour was held on Aug. 9, with remaining tours on Aug. 19, 23, 26, and 30. Advance registration is required. Explore the various tours being offered and register online at vims.edu.
