VIMS announces upcoming programs

The Virginia Institute of Marine Science, Gloucester Point, has announced its next After Hours lecture and Discovery Lab programs.
The next After Hours lecture, “‘State of the York’ Report Sneak Peek!” will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 in the McHugh Auditorium, located in Watermen’s Hall on the VIMS campus.
Cirse Gonzalez, Coastal Training Program Coordinator of the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Virginia (CBNERR-VA) at VIMS, will give attendees a sneak peek of an update to the “State of the York” report, which is the first of its kind since 2000.
The report will not be made available to the public until late summer, so program attendees are getting an opportunity for a first glimpse.
After Hours lectures are designed for an adult audience. This lecture will also be available as a livestreamed webinar. Registration is required for both in-person and webinar attendees. Webinar links will be sent in all registration confirmation emails.
