Village Arts Day, the final event in the monthlong Gloucester Arts Festival, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at the historic courthouse circle on Main Street.
The free all-day event will feature an Artisan Market with two dozen top-quality artisans, craftsmen, and boutique businesses displaying and selling such items as jewelry, pottery, sculptures, paintings, prints, baskets, studio glass, and more.
In addition to finding something one-of-a-kind at the Artisan Market, festival-goers will be able to visit Edgehill House, listen to a storyteller, help paint a local mural, and more, said organizers on the festival website.
The day will include demonstrations by the Chrysler Museum’s Mobile Glass Blowing Studio, a visit by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts’ ArtMobile, and entertainment by a variety of local groups.
