Village Arts Day Saturday wraps up monthlong festival

After a full month of activities and events, the Gloucester Arts Festival will end on Saturday with the family-oriented Village Arts Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street and a wrap-up reception from 4-6 p.m. at the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester in Main Street Center.
Village Arts Day
Village Arts Day is a day to celebrate the arts and artists of Gloucester and the region. It will include an all-day artisan market on the Historic Court Circle to showcase the handiwork of two dozen artists, craftsmen, and boutique businesses. Items available for purchase will include jewelry, pottery, sculpture, paintings, prints, baskets, studio glass, and more.
Live performances begin at 11 a.m. with the Bayside Youth Ballet, followed by MerMan’s Comedy Variety Magic Show at 11:45 a.m., Gloucester Mathews Men’s Chorus at 1 p.m., Kmusic Studios at 2 p.m., and The Liberty Dolls at 3 p.m.
A Children’s Paint Station will be hosted by retired Gloucester art teacher Janet Griffin from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m....
