Vickey Croxton Clements was taken out of her misery by the Good Lord above on November 21, 2023. She was the best wife, the best Mom, the best Grandma, the best Bena, the best daughter and the best sister and a friend for so many. She was self-employed her entire adult life. She was a painter, a wallpaperer, and the owner of a cleaning service. If it needed to be done, she would attempt it, and in most cases, succeed. She could and would outwork any man on any given day. She was a great cook but preferred to give her husband a purpose in life and let him cook for her. She was a premier animal lover but by far her preference was cats. Vickey was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Croxton. She is survived by her husband of almost 47 years, Frankie; daughter, Heidi Condrey, and sons, H.F. Clements, Luke Clements, and Nick Clements. Vickey is survived by her grandsons, Tyler Condrey, Ayden Condrey and Alex Clements. She is also survived by her father, Mike Croxton Sr.; brother, Mike Croxton Jr.; sister, Angela Croxton; daughter-in-law, Amelia Clements; many nieces and nephews; special niece, Brianna Siddall, and great-niece, Rosalie. She is survived by a thousand cats or more, too many to name here. She will be missed by so many but live on in the hearts of her family and many friends. A visitation was held on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Bellamy United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 1417, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
