VHSL announces two-week delay to start of spring sports season

The Virginia High School League has announced that, in response to the rapidly changing landscape regarding COVID-19, the high school spring sports season will be delayed two weeks throughout the commonwealth, with the first play date now scheduled for Monday, March 30.
The original spring sports first play date was originally scheduled for this coming Monday, March 16. The Outdoor Track championships, Tennis Championships, and the VHSL Spring Jubilee are not affected by this delay and all championships are still scheduled on their original dates.
The VHSL Crisis Management Committee will meet again on Wednesday,
