A Veterans Day program was held on Sunday afternoon at the Gloucester Veterans Memorial Wall. Held by Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 of the Marine Corps League, the guest speaker was Jackie Scialabba, wife of Capt. Peter James Scialabba, USMC, who was killed in the Beruit bombing of Oct. 23, 1983. The program concluded with the laying of wreaths along the wall.
