The Virginia Department of Transportation is in the midst of an online survey, inviting the public to share their feedback on existing travel conditions along Route 14 between Route 17 Business (Main Street) and Ware Neck Road.
The survey is part of a STARS (Strategically Targeted Affordable Roadway Solutions) transportation study to assess potential safety and operational improvements.
The public is invited to take an online survey to submit comments at https://publicinput.com/route14 study. The online survey will be open to accept comments through March 24.
The purpose is to identify safety, congestion, access management, and bicycle/pedestrian accommodation needs within the study area, a release stated.
Project partners include Gloucester County, the Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission, and the Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization.
