The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock in White Stone recently announced its 2024 Servetus Endowment Scholarships students in area public high schools, one per county.
The four recipients are:
—Sear’Tis Turner of Lancaster, enrolled in Christopher Newport University to study computer science;
—Sarah Moughon of Mathews, enrolled in Elon University to study finance and become a finance and investment consultant;
—Elizabeth Cox of Middlesex, enrolled at James Madison University, to study art and add to her skills as a graphic designer; and,
—Caroline Neale of North-umberland, also enrolled at James Madison University, to become a nurse practitioner.
A May 25 luncheon was held in their honor at the Tides Inn. Each student receives a $4,000 scholarship for their first year.
