Construction of a new research building at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science at Gloucester Point is underway. The building will house all four academic departments at VIMS, which are Aquatic Health Sciences, Biological Sciences, Fisheries Science and Physical Sciences. It is anticipated that the consturction will be finished in 2024.
