The U14 Swordfish Baystars youth soccer team had its first game Saturday, ending in a 1-1 tie against Reign. The game-tying goal was scored in the last minute by Melanie Mueller. Game pins were earned by Mueller and Rylyn Wilmoth. The girls have a bye week this coming weekend, returning with an away game in Smithfield. The girls are coached by Reinaldo Miquelarena and assistant coach Adriana Wallace.
