U10 White Caps win, 5-0

The U10 White Caps made the journey to the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex in Virginia Beach to play the Beach FC Nelson Tigers where they won, 5-0.
The Tigers began the game with some aggressive ball movement and had an early shot land in the goal, but their offsides penalty kept the score at 0-0, where it remained through the half.
The White Caps rallied in the second half with Colton Bergstrom finding the net twice. Teammates Luechauer, Stevenson and Noah Ford all scored once. White Caps goalies Luechauer and Donnie Wolford split the time in the net, recording one and five saves respectively.
The White Caps defense completely shut down the Tigers offense. The team was co-captained this past Saturday by Triffon Luechauer and Arimus Stevenson and the 5-0 shutout added to the White Caps current undefeated season record.
The White Caps will compete in the Williamsburg Columbus Invitational at the Warhill Sports Complex this coming Saturday along with other Baystars FC teams.
