GWYNN: Mrs. Lewis Powell, who has been ill with the typhoid fever, is much improved under the skillful care of Dr. Vaden.
Miss Pumphry of Maryland, is the pleasant guest of Miss Lillie Picket.
We are glad to report that Robert Rowe, who has been very ill, is out again.
Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Grimstead’s home was made happy by the arrival of a little baby girl on last Thursday morning.

The Lobsters continued their winning streak by defeating Crab Neck here on last Friday and Mobjack on Tuesday. The first game was closely contested, the final score being 7 to 4. Both Crab Neck and Mathews played good ball in th field and their pitchers were effective. Batteries: Hughes and Digle; Callis and Callis.
