Gordon Smith of Harcum hit a hole-in-one not just once, but twice, while playing golf at The Golden Eagle in Lancaster on Friday. Using an eight iron, Smith holed out the number 8 hole, and then, using a six iron, holed out on number 14. Smith’s golfing partner, Toby Calloway of Harcum, said, “I can’t recall ever hearing of this in any golf circle. Nobody was more surprised than Gordon. He had never had a hole-in-one before.” Also playing that day with Smith and Calloway were Keith Atherton and Wayne Lewis of Mathews.
